 Setting Standards – Margaret Gowen & Co. Ltd, Quality Management System It had long been an ambition of Margaret Gowen & Co. Ltd. to formalise their existing procedures and quality standards and bring them in line with the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). The company’s commitment to providing a comprehensive quality service to our clients at all times was a driving factor in achieving ISO accreditation. This was realised on 8 August 2003, when Margaret Gowen & Co. Ltd received IS.EN.ISO 9001:2000 certification (Certificate Registration Number 2976). Margaret Gowen & Co. Ltd. is the second archaeological consultancy in Ireland to receive ISO accreditation, but the first to include Archaeological Consultancy and Project Management in its scope of works.  We
assure quality by employing qualified and experienced staff with a high level
of expertise, professional standards and quality of presentation. All of our
staff work to achieve the best archaeological practice, and therefore provide
the highest level of service to our clients.Because our company provides such a wide range of services it is important that we work together to produce the same quality standard that the company has become renowned for. The ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System provides a system of internal checks and balances that allows us to monitor our performance at all stages of a project. This ensures that Margaret Gowen & Co. Ltd. listen to our clients and work on their behalf to resolve their archaeological issues, within budget, on time and to the highest standards. The company was awarded the standard by EQA (Ireland) Limited and is independently audited on an annual basis to ensure that we are maintaining and striving to continually improve our service |
