Measured Building Survey
Floor plans and elevations are produced mainly for our
architectural and engineering clients. They are used for building redevelopment
and structural analysis.
Using reflectorless totalstation and hand held lasers, measurements are observed
quickly and accurately. With the horizontal and vertical data from these
measurements floor plans and building cross sections are accurately generated.
The production of detailed floor plans and building elevations is a service we
also provide to enhance the work of our Built Heritage Specialists.

Our surveyors specialise in high detail façade surveys. To complement our
building surveys and provide enhanced visualisation of built features Margaret
Gowen & Co. surveyors are skilled in 3D modelling. We employ a range of
techniques, including terrestrial photogrammetrical methods, for 3 dimensional
data capture, and a range of software for digital visualisation and output.
