  Cultural Heritage Impact Studies

Our dedicated team of specialists has developed significant expertise in this area. Working closely with clients, design teams and other EIS consultants, the team frames its advice on the potential impact of a development and the appropriate ameliorative, reducing and mitigation measures required. 

  Archaeological Excavation and Project Management

We have a proven track record in the management of projects requiring extensive pre-development archaeological excavation, in both urban and rural, dryland and wetland settings.

  Surveying and Digital Mapping 

We have a dedicated team of surveyors, which undertakes a range of building and geodetic surveys for a variety of development and conservation-led projects.

  Geophysical Survey

Our geophysical survey team use a broad spectrum of soil magnetic, earth resistance, and geochemical prospection techniques for non-intrusive investigation of sites on large and small scale archaeological projects.

  Environmental Archaeology

Our environmental archaeology specialists offer advice and practical help on the collection and examination of bio-archaeological remains at all stages of excavation.

  Artefact Analysis

We have a dedicated team of finds specialists who work with our site directors. Good post-excavation practise is based upon quality field work that leads to a thorough and precise analysis of the finds from a site at post-ex. We also provide this service to external clients.

  Osteological Analysis

Our Osteological department provides both animal and human osteological services from bone washing through to measurement, photography, analysis and final report production.
