The company has produced many cultural heritage reports for inclusion in Environmental Impact Statements (EIS).  Crannog siteThe purpose of the study is to assess the significance of the receiving archaeological environment and the impact of the proposed route on this environment. In accordance with the EIA directive we assess and provide information on the likely and significant archaeological and cultural heritage impacts of a proposed development. Ameliorative measures are proposed where necessary to safeguard any monuments, features or finds of antiquity that are identified during the course of the study. At MGL we provide an integrated service to the client. The surveys required to fully realise the potential of a specified area, such as geophysical survey, archaeological test excavation and aerial survey, are supplied ensuring a seamless archaeological assessment and increasing the archaeological knowledge of that area.
